ECO CLUB

The main aim of establishing the Eco Club was to conserve the natural resources and the natural environment to create Eco friendly environment and create awareness of biodiversity conservation and local environmental issues among children and to create a clean and green consciousness among students through various innovative methods. Eco club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. The Main motive of the Eco Club is to nurture and teach the importance of environment to students. Eco Club is a group of concerned students, teachers and volunteers that are committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and to reducing environmental impact as individuals, as community, and as citizens of the Nation.



The main objectives of ECO CLUB are :

  • Environmental Awareness : Educate members and the community about environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and biodiversity loss.
  • Promoting Sustainable Practices: Encourage sustainable lifestyles, including waste reduction, recycling, and responsible consumption of resources.
  • Conservation of Natural Resources: Protect and conserve natural resources such as water, soil, air, and forests., Promote practices like rainwater harvesting, afforestation, and soil conservation.
  • Community Engagement: Conduct awareness campaigns, tree-planting drives, clean-up drives, and eco-friendly events in schools and communities.
  • Encouraging Biodiversity: Protect local flora and fauna by organizing activities like habitat restoration and wildlife conservation initiatives.
  • Addressing Climate Change: Educate members on the causes and effects of climate change and how individuals can contribute to mitigation efforts.
  • Skill Development and Leadership: Equip members with knowledge and skills to be environmental leaders and change-makers.
  • Behavioral Change: Instill eco-friendly habits such as avoiding single-use plastics, conserving energy, and protecting green spaces.
